Once you have applied for a position, your resume will be sent to the appropriate recruiter to review. If we have a position available that matches your skills, you will be contacted directly.
If we do not have a position available, we will keep your resume in our database for consideration for future opportunities. If you would like to check the status of your resume, please feel free to contact our NelsonJobs Client Services Team at 866-939-4343.

How do I know that a position has been filled?

If you have applied for a position and it has been filled, an email will be sent to all candidates
who have applied for the position letting them know it has been filled. You can also contact our NelsonJobs Client Services Team at 866-939-4343 to determine if a position is still open.

If I apply for a position listed by a Featured Employer, what happens next?

NelsonJobs features key employers throughout the Bay Area and posts their positions on their behalf. Most featured employers have an embedded link within the job posting for job seekers to click. This link will direct them to the Featured Employers career site to apply. Once you have gone to the featured employers career site you have left NelsonJobs. If the particular featured employer is interested in your resume, they will contact you directly.

I have submitted a resume and have not heard from anyone,
what are the next steps?

If the name of the company is not listed in the job posting, how can I find out who the company is?

Nelson Staffing, Nelson & Associates and Nelson Technology are part of the Nelson Family of Companies. Nelson partners with their premier clients to recruit the most qualified candidates in the market place and post our client positions on NelsonJobs without using the specific client name. Typically, when a candidate goes through the hiring process with Nelson, and is qualified for the position, we will discuss the specific clients we are working with at that time.

Why is the salary not included in the job posting?

A number of our clients do not want us to provide the salary information within the job postings. We suggest for candidates to search on www.salary.com to research the salary ranges for the various positions.
