Job Description
Our client in the East Bay is one of the nation's leading not-for-profit networks of community-based health care providers, delivering high-quality care in more than 100 Northern California communities.
They have a need for a Long Term Contract Hospital Customer Service Representative.
Compensation: DOE
Position Overview:
Responsible for collection of Accounts Receivable as related to all Non Government Payers, i.e., HMO, PPO, Work Comp, and Group Insurance. Responsible for analysis of accounts from when the billing is sent to the payer, to when payer payment is posted. Ability to review a contract and quote back to payer as related to disputes during collection of account.
Candidates should have:

One to two years experience with HMO and/or PPO contract language relating to reimbursements

Knowledge of third-party payer’s

Ability to review the contracts related to the individual payers to collections and or appeals to designated payer
