Sr. Accountant with the following emphasis:
SQL / Inventory / GL / Reconciliations Analyst
Part of a team that involves:
- SQL Querying: Solid Experience w/ Acct system software querying in such programs as Access, Microsoft Sequel Server Mgmt Studio, Crystal or another SQL server type program. Usage of SQL querying will be in extracting information from the Acct software program to funnel it to Excel for the purpose of manipulation and analysis in inventory, GL, reconciliations.
- Analysis: Before/After month-end close, there is a lot of analysis to check on departments, trends, counts, problematic areas.
- Close Process: 5 business days to close before month-end close. A lot of GL accounts to reconcile and verify. Receive
inventory count from operations team. Record variances, etc.
There is no manufacturing.
STRICT REQUIREMENTS:
- Big Company experience in transactions (especially), as well as revenue.
- SQL program usage.
- Advanced Excel (pivot, v-lookup, filters, macros).
- Inventory background Degree
- Creative person who is about improving processes.
- Near 5 years or more of experience.
