We are seeking an ethical, dependable and diligent individual who enjoys working in a fast paced, growing company to fill the role of a Senior Accountant.  The primary responsibility of this position is to maintain the General Ledger and reconciliations of most balance sheet accounts. The Senior Accountant will own the month end close process and preparation of the financials. Numerous ad hoc requests should be expected as well.

This position requires a strong understanding of accounting concepts and GAAP, the ability to meet deadlines, and the ability to efficiently interact with various groups across the company as well as outside of the company. The successful candidate will have a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and self-motivate, and he/she will have a flexible, can-do attitude. You will report to the Assistant Controller.

Compensation: $75k – $85k DOE

Qualifications:

• Candidate MUST have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• Candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in preparing and recording transactions in accordance with GAAP

Knowledge and Skills desired:

• Public accounting experience
• Oracle Financials knowledge preferred, but not required
• Very Strong Excel skills – You will use it extensively
• Your resume MUST exhibit excellent written communication skills
• Must have a strong attention to detail and be well organized
