Our client a well known Healthcare provider is currently seeking a talented Sr. Accountant to join their warm and fun environment. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a dynamic organization!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepares the financial statement reporting package for the senior management
• Ensures the accuracy of cash accounts, accounts payable and payroll sub ledger systems by reviewing the complex G/L account balances and sub ledgers.
• Prepares complex journal entries.
• Prepares/Reviews all reporting schedules management in compliance with corporate reporting under designated timelines, with the highest degree of accuracy.
• Prepares/Reviews all property tax, welfare exemptions and insurance values.
• Reviews fixed asset accounting and ensure that they are fairly presented in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Very Strong Excel.
• Public Accounting background would be a plus.

Compensation: 60k+
