Job Description
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Loan Documentation Officer (Commercial) to join their team. This is a terrific opportunity to work for a leader in the industry!
Key responsibilities include; performing a variety of centralized services and duties pertaining to documentation and servicing of commercial, commercial real estate, construction, and consumer loans. This position requires a strong working knowledge and demonstrated experience in interpreting and analyzing complex loan documentation. Must be able to interpret legal language and derive administrative requirements from primary and ancillary loans.
Compensation: $60k - $80k DOE
Responsibilities:

Independently originate loan documentation for diverse, complex loan structures through Interpretation of credit authorizations

Assess and originate appropriate security documents to perfect Bank's position with real, personal, and possessory collateral

Interface directly with Relationship Managers to resolve issues and ambiguities with loan documentation vis-à-vis terms of credit authorization

Develop ad hoc language to address unique requirements

Originate all documents in conformity to Loan Policy and regulatory requirements

Maintain documentation software (Harland Laserpro)

Work closely with loan administration team to ensure that deal structure conforms to systems capabilities, resolve issues as needed

Develop procedures as needed for new or revised responsibilities

Identify and resolve conflicts or problems that may exist when originating documents

Development and Maintenance of Loan and Management Report

Maintain and modify as needed, existing loan reports and files (excel and Core System generated) used to support loans pledged as collateral

Independently create spreadsheets/reports used in preparation of monthly and quarterly senior management reports

Review all credits that are targeted for participation
Requirements:
-
Minimum 5 years experience in loan/note department operations, with both loan documentation and loan system/accounting experience

Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
