Stable, growing Legal Consulting Firm based in San Francisco needs a strong Financial Data Analyst/ Reports Developer to work as an independent, system-savvy, analyst capable of working with complex requirements and data to support the financial objectives of the firm.
The Financial Systems Analyst will provide analytic and programming support for financial planning, internal management reporting, ad hoc data analysis and other financial/accounting analysis. Additionally he/she will provide reporting to support accounting, billing, collections, accounts payable, fixed asset, and performance management objectives.
Will also be responsible for approximately 30% financial analysis and 70% data reporting using SQL Server and Excel. VBA is a plus! Documentation of custom applications including middleware solutions to ad hoc and dashboard reporting.
Compensation $80k - $90k DOE
Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, or Computer Science is preferred

3 to 5 years in a Financial Systems or Financial Analysis role

Able to handle both the requirements gathering from end users (high level executives) and development

Ad Hoc reports development using SQL Server (Management Studio or Enterprise Manager), MS Access, Excel, and other Microsoft Office components. VBA is a plus!

Experience in designing, maintaining, and/or documenting financial/operational reports

Must be able to own the process from end to end (requirements gathering to development)
