Disease Management Clinical Care Specialist
Full-time (M-F) hours may vary
Responsibilities include (but may not be limited to) the following:
-Assisting in answering phone lines and forwarding calls to the correct personnel
-Keeping informed of drug recalls, new medications, studies, etc.
-Providing daily updates to Clinical Pharmacy team when requested
-Learning data systems necessary for daily procedures
-Attending team meetings and health-focused educational sessions
-Running queries, researching and compiling data from various sources to assist in the development of documents, reports, studies, etc.
- Placing member recruitment calls as assigned
-Creating, revising, and maintaining
-Communicating with pharmacies and physician’s offices regarding member claims, co-pays, labs, etc.
-Providing supervisor with summary of completed tasks and future goals on weekly basis
-Assisting clinical team with additional projects upon request.

-Able to handle multiple tasks

-Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet search engines)
-Capable of working independently or as part of a team
Requirements:
-MUST be bilingual in Spanish
-Some college coursework in the medical field
-License as pharmacy technician preferred (but not required)
-Must have experience as a pharmacy tech
-Knowledge of medical terminology
-Minimum of 2-3 years in customer service or call center
-Background check required
