Drafter

Our client, a leader in the design and manufacturing of industrial equipment, is looking for an energetic upbeat Drafter to join their team. This individual will be working within the drafting and design department and will utilize from sales quote specs, apply design and integrate. There is a large amount of CAD work to be done.  Ideal candidate would have Cad Key, Auto Cad and Solid works.

Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.

Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.

Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery, using computer-assisted equipment.

Position instructions and comments onto drawings.

Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) a plus.

·         Four to six years related experience or equivalent.

·         Commitment to excellence and high standards

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills

·         AutoCAD and Solid works experience/knowledge
