Work with fellow Engineering team members to:
- Implement new product features using C++ and SQL in an Apache/Linux environment.
- Enhance and maintain existing product capabilities
- Create detailed technical design documents and participate design reviews.
- Play an active role in implementing and providing feedback on new processes
- Provide technical guidance, assistance to other software engineers.
- Adhere to release/project schedule and milestones.
We are looking for exceptional senior software engineers that have a strong command of C++ in a UNIX/Linux environment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of relevant web protocols.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science is required and MSCS preferred.

Targeting engineers with 4 to 10+ yrs of experience.

Preferred experience developing secure transactional software products

Expert level C++ skills with demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems

Expert level SQL skills with demonstrated ability to tune and optimize database queries.

Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS performance tuning and query optimization or other large commercial databases.

Knowledge of QA Automation processes and tools.

Familiarity with Clearcase and Clearquest preferred.

Knowledge of Database performance, HTML, XML, Java, UML is a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are a positive due to the dynamic nature of discussions with other engineering and product teams
