As part of PayPal’s top 2 company initiatives, building a single, unified Checkout platform for Merchants and Marketplaces, we are looking for talented software engineers to join us building next generation of Checkout products which will make differences.  As a critical member of the Merchants & Marketplaces Checkout product development team, you will be responsible for critical technology initiatives that will have a visible and immediate impact on millions of PayPal customers.

Responsibilities include: 
Working closely with other engineering team members and interacting with product, design, content, QE and many other groups to lead and deliver world class engineering products in an exciting fast-paced environment.
Partner with the Product Management group to identify business requirements and design product specifications
Create high-level and detailed technical design documents, and conduct design reviews.  
Play an active role in implementing and providing feedback on new processes  
Provide technical guidance to other software engineers.  
Implement new product features using C++ and SQL in an Apache/Linux environment.  
Enhance and maintain existing product capabilities 
Develop and update product documentation  
Participate and become actively involved in team and companywide architecture discussions  
Employ technical expertise in helping team members overcome technical problems
Adhere to release/project schedule and milestones
