Job Description
Our gaming client in San Diego is seeking International Customer Service Reps who are fluent in FRENCH. This is your chance to be a part of an exciting industry and use your language skills!
Compensation: $12 - $14/hour DOE
Responsibilities:
-
Address and resolve customer issues in both the in-game petition system as well as through the phone/chat/email systems used for Technical and Account/Billing support

Audit, approve and if necessary edit player submitted character names, profile descriptions and images
-
Investigate and document complex issues with regard to game exploits, trade fraud, and harassment issues to be used in account disciplinary action documentation
-
Consistently meet or exceed all quality and productivity metrics
-
Adhere to posted game policies of each product supported
-
Assist with the support of and communicate with offsite team members via IRC chat channels
-
Document and communicate game/technical/investigation issues to supervisors
-
Attend regular team/department meetings
-
Organize and run events for the player base
-
Any additional tasks as assigned by Supervisors and/or Managers during the course of normal business operations including, but not limited to, translations, bug reporting and/or regression and knowledge base maintenance
-
Due to the support needs and scheduling for our international community, all employees may be required to work a variety of shifts including nights and weekends. Overtime may be requested/required during times of high call volume due to game updates or product launches
Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or 2+ years of Customer Service experience

Good computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
-
Experience with Microsoft Windows XP/Vista, Microsoft Office, and Experience with Microsoft Internet Explorer is required

General experience with Massive Multiplayer Online Games is helpful and Experience with the Role-Playing games helpful

Must display a high degree of proficiency in English as well as French. This includes writing, reading, speaking, and translation skills. All applicants will be subject to language testing
Competency and Ability to provide customer support and communicate with management in both English as well as French (written and verbally – Native tongue in the language of service preferred)

Ability to be persuasive with customers, keeping “customer satisfaction” as a guiding factor

Good Oral and Written Communication Skills and Strong Planning, Organization, Problem Solving and Execution Skills

Excellent product knowledge of the supported localized product in specific and of all Company products in general
-
Game knowledge of quests, character classes, skills, spells, items, character progression and overall game mechanics
-
Technical Knowledge of known issues and their resolutions, as well as technical skills to evaluate/identify, document, and report/resolve complex technical issues that customers are having
