This is a possible temp-to-hire opportunity. Pay will depend on experience. JR HR Generalist needed who will be responsible for the following:
Managing the recruitment process including: writing job descriptions, placing advertisements in press or with online job boards or with recruitment consultants, arranging interviews, conducting interviews, making job offers, checking references and organizing start dates.
Training and development of new employees, organizing training schedules and courses for new and existing staff.
Developing HR processes and procedures and maintain/update existing procedures. Develop and/or implement company policies.
Company handbook develop company handbook if one is not in place. Maintain company handbook with relevant company updates.
Give HR guidance and advice to employees, line managers, etc.
Developing and/or maintain employee review process.
Managing benefits process, ensuring all employees are aware of benefit entitlement and update as and when changes occur.
Maintaining confidential HR database ensuring current compliance.
Must stay up-to-date on employment law and current legislation in relation to HR. Ensure all new legislation is informed to relevant personnel.
Other HR related activities as may be required.
Must have a min of 5yrs of HR exp.
