Job Description
Are you interested in working for an environmentally savvy, stable, growing company? Our client is currently seeking an experienced Business System Analyst to join their innovative team. This is a full time salaried role with excellent benefits, which include child care assistance.
As a Business System Analyst, you will maintain a dual role as a Software/Systems Analyst and Business Intelligence Developer. You must have a strong understanding of transactional business processes in a manufacturing environment and the ability to translate those processes into functional software and BI requirements.
Compensation: $70k - $80k DOE
Required Skills:
-
Minimum of 5 years experience as a business systems analyst within complex systems
-
Environment involving ERP (finance, manufacturing, sales, etc.), CRM and BI, preferably within a manufacturing environment
-
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in building data reporting and analysis solutions (Microsoft databases, reporting and analysis tools)
-
Relational database concepts and structures; schema design, primary key, etc.
-
Database performance management and ability to develop complex data structures optimized for performance; indexing, triggers, etc.

Database programming; stored procedures, SQL scripting
-
Warehouse data modeling and development
-
Analytical processing and cube development (OLAP)
Required Software Skills:
-
T-SQL and MDX
-
Microsoft Business Intelligence Studio (MBIS)
-
Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 general administration tasks (user account management and basic security settings)
-
Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 tools and utilities, especially Management Studio
-
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services: data sources, report development (MBIS), data models, report builder, report manager security.

Microsoft SQL Server Analytics Services: cube building / processing
-
Expert level experience/knowledge of any one tier 1 or tier 2 ERP system(s)
