Candidates must be well rounded with Microsoft Technologies. Certification is required as is a strong working knowledge of MOSS and Sharepoint.
The Director of Information Technology's primary responsibility is to oversee the streamlined operation of the IT department and to ensure it aligns with and delivers upon the strategic and business objectives of the organization.
This individuals principal goals are to develop and manage strategic IT initiatives, develop and manage application portfolios for each department and to attain all IT service level agreements for the user community both within and outside the organization.
The Director of IT will oversee all aspects of IT within the organization and will, among other things, plan, coordinate, direct, and design all operational activities of the IT department, as well as provide management, direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations.
