Nelson is seeking a talented sales professional to lead our technology-based staffing division. You must be driven and have a proven sales history, as well as being customer focused and ready to take on a challenge. The person in this position will be responsible for driving the team to success during a time when technology staffing is predicted to recover. This positions reports to the Executive Vice President. Primary office location will be in San Francisco or San Jose with the ability to travel to offices throughout the Bay Area.
Duties include:
- Develop and manage the activities, daily operations and sales strategy of Nelson Technology; develop and implement the business development strategy, sales plan, and forecasts.
- Trains, develops, and mentors a team of recruiters and account executives throughout the Bay Area.
- Plans annual budget in conjunction with Executive Management
- Develops and implements a sales action plan with objectives and strategies to increase revenue and aggressively acquire new accounts.
- Seeks/creates opportunities to expand business with current clients; identifies further business needs and develops and presents solutions.
- Focuses sales efforts on 50 top target accounts with each account executive to develop and grow those prospects.
- Ensures that client base grows by 15- 20 percent and all account executives being mentored reach 90 percent of their goals.
Qualifications – must have:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent
- Four to six year's related sales experience or equivalent.
- At least five years Technical Staffing experience required.
