PayPal’s Global Product Development organization is seeking a strategy minded, process and execution oriented individual to provide leadership around all aspects of product development planning. This individual will provide leadership in helping design and implement a blueprint for how product development will ‘mobilize’ our workforce to delivery on PayPal’s strategic objectives. As part of the Global Product Development team, this individual will partner with PayPal’s technology leaders in aligning organizational capabilities to deliver on product roadmaps within the boundaries of our product investment portfolio; as well as partner with global product planning and the corporate strategy organization during the annual planning process.
Primary job responsibilities include:

Ensure Consistency of Implementation, Usage, and Interpretation Across Strategic Planning, Resourcing & Capacity Management, and Performance Reporting.

Work with Product Teams to Provide Support in Ongoing Product Development Planning and Resource Capacity Analysis

Provide A Governance Model and an Integrated View of Resourcing and Planning Capabilities Across All Domains and Products

Partner with Program Management Offices to Drive Alignment and Resourcing of Strategic Objectives & Opportunities Through Scenario Planning and “What If” Analysis

Increase Awareness & Understanding of Current Outsourcing Model At Management/Planning Level and Exploit Opportunities for Leverage & Efficiencies

Provide Strong Thought and Implementation Leadership in Helping with the Design, Delivery, and Governing of a Continuous Planning Process That Extends Beyond the Annual Planning Process

Educate, Train, and Integrate Technology Organization on New Process, Approvals and Individual’s Roles and Responsibilities

Liaison and Translator Between Financial Architecture and the Technology and Business Organizations
- Accountable for the Macro Level View of Technology’s Roadmap
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Awareness of Investment Portfolio Analysis, Resource Management, and Product Lifecycle Management, Experience With Planning in Support of Agile Methodologies
- Domain Knowledge and Experience in Payments and Financial Services
- Analytical Curiosity & Financial Acumen Required
- Program Management Experience & Ability to Influence Beyond Direct Areas of Control Required
- Strategically Minded and Proven Practitioner of Process Reengineering
- Effectively Work With All Functions and Organizational Levels [C Level and IC]
