Duties & Responsibilities:
As the Certified Forklift Driver, you will use sit-down propane and/or electric forklifts to move product from one location to another as directed. This will include loading and unloading free-standing large bins from trucks and flatbeds.
Your duties will vary according to the department in which the lift driving is being performed. Departments include Receiving, Shipping and Packaging areas. You must be able to work within a structure of an inventory-controlled warehouse with high stacking in extremely tight spaces. You will keep working area clean in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and proper safety procedures. Additionally, you will complete pre-shift daily inspection checklist for assigned lift truck.
Work may be indoors or out, subject to various weather conditions.
Qualifications Required:
- You must be certified and have a minimum of 3 years previous work experience driving a forklift as your primary job in a warehouse, distribution or logistic environment
- You must be able to lift up to 50 lb
- You are required to pass a Drug Screen and 7-year Criminal Background Check
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must provide a current 3-year clean DMV printout.
- Must be flexible and available to work any shift.
