Job Description
#1 Northern California Structured cabling company is seeking experienced technicians to work on various projects throughout the Bay Area.
The selected candidate will be responsible for installing and terminating Category 5E, 6 and fiber optic cabling. He/she will perform installation, termination, and testing of structured cable systems using all types of physical media and associated components utilized in local and wide area networks.
Candidates MUST possess solid experience in CAT5 installation in a commercial environment.
• Candidates should be able to correctly pull data/telecoms cable through installed pathways.
• Experience installing jacks (568 A/B),
• Performing cross connects
• installation of patch panels
• Punch down 66/110 blocks
• 110-patch panel
• Various data and voice jacks
• Install, terminate, and test all forms of communication cabling.
All candidates must have reliable transportation and basic telecoms installation hand tools.
