Nelson’s Vice President of Marketing, Christina Russo, was named to the Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) 2018 list of the top 40 staffing industry professionals under the age of 40, for the second year in a row.

The global advisor on staffing and workforce solutions has unveiled its annual 40 Under 40 list, recognizing a unique set of leaders on the cutting-edge work in North America. Nelson’s Christina Russo is one of the influential individuals named to this year’s list, making her mark through innovation, efficiency, and diligence. The list is not a ranking but a recognition of talented professionals elevating the industry.

Christina joined Nelson as the youngest Executive team member in 2015 and has continued to foster company growth through innovative programs, processes, and initiatives. In addition to being included on SIA’s 2017 40 under 40 list, Christina was also named to SIA’s inaugural Top Millennials in Staffing list in 2016.

As a disruptive industry leader, Christina is constantly perusing innovative ways to challenge new markets. “It’s been fun to deep-dive into the HR tech world again and see what’s out there to help us push forward.” Christina says. “My current focus is on researching go-to-market strategies, buyer profiles and what it would take to reach the masses without adding more work to the desk of the recruiter.”

“We are delighted to acknowledge these dynamic trailblazers — CEOs, entrepreneurs, digital gurus, business pundits and workforce specialists, among others – who represent the next generation of leaders in the workforce solutions ecosystem,” said Subadhra Sriram, Publisher and Editor, SIA. “Compelled by a desire to improve the lives of people, they are shaping the world of work in unprecedented ways.”

Christina’s full honoree can be view on the 40 Under 40 2018 website. The list, along with the profiles of those recognized, also debuts in print in the September 2018 issue of Staffing Industry Review. A reception is planned to honor these talented leaders during SIA’s upcoming conference Collaboration in the Gig Economy taking place October 4-5 2018 in Dallas.
