I have worked in the beverage industry my entire life - beginning in grocery and restaurants from bartender to buyer and manager, casual to fine dining. I then moved into the wine & spirits distributor side starting in sales with a family-owned company, then to management with Southern Wine & Spirits, and then to the supplier side working for a winery & importer in sales for 10 years, Ste. Michelle Wine Estates. Most recently I decided to hone in on my key strengths of being a true connector and networking, so I moved to the recruiting side of the industry, working for Gecko Hospitality recruiting restaurant management for the last 2 years through the challenging times of the pandemic, helping the industry recover.
I have now found my home with Nelson Connects where I am excited to utilize my long term industry experience and relationships to help others find their dream jobs! I reside in NYC and love to bike, dine out, spend time with friends, and enjoy all that my awesome city has to offer while continuing to network in the industry and meet amazing people daily.
