Accounts Payable Lead
$65k - $80k/year

We are seeking an A/P Lead for a stable distribution client based out of Stockton. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day functions of the accounts payable department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all A/P Duties, ensuring they are completely accurately and timely
  • Logs and records invoices into ERP system
  • Supervises, mentors, and trains a small group of accounts payable staff
  • Oversees and resolves issues related to accounts payable
  • Codes all invoices to proper GL account
  • Assists with the month-end close process as it relates to accounts payable
  • Runs balancing reports daily
  • Oversees vendor files

Ideal qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
