Job Title: AR Clerk

Location: Concord
Compensation: $65-70k

Job Summary:

Join our client, a leading real estate company in San Francisco as their new AR Clerk. You will be responsible for overseeing accounts receivable operations and preparing financial reporting for various asset classes. As an essential member of the accounting team, you will contribute to the growth and success of the business, ensuring financial accuracy, and making significant contributions to operations.

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts receivable such as applying cash receipts, credit card receipts to tenant ledgers and making bank deposit
  • Post/adjust charges to tenant ledger and input all tenant status charges
  • Process tenant move-ins & move-outs plus security deposit accounting
  • Monitor and reconcile tenant ledgers and prepare zero dollar receipts
  • Monitor lease expirations/renewals
  • Back-up AP Clerk (who in turn will back-up AR Clerk)
  • Assist in special projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Title Requirements:

  • High School graduate, college preferred
  • Minimum 2-3+ years Accounting experience
  • Experience with Yardi Payscan or equivalent accounting software preferred.
  • Must be proficient with PC, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel
  • Data input skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities and workflow.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Quick learner, able to work independently and accurately.
  • Strong communication skills.
