Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with proficiency in Yardi to join the team for a 3+ month contract assignment. The ideal candidate will accurately record and reconcile financial transactions, ensure timely payments, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

This position pays 28-34/hr and if a hybrid position in Fremont.

Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable transactions using Yardi, following company policies.
- Verify and reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and payment requests.
- Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and electronic payments.
- Resolve discrepancies and issues with invoices, purchase orders, or payments.
- Perform regular reconciliations and assist with month-end closing.
- Generate reports on vendor performance, payment trends, and cash flow using Yardi.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure compliance.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist, with Yardi proficiency.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting software.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
