Our San Francisco based retail client has an immediate need for an Accountant to come on board. This role will be a hybrid in San Francisco and this person must be comfortable going onsite. The ideal Accountant will have strong accounting and NetSuite experience.
Responsibilities:
Ensure invoices and payments are processed in time
Ensure vendor account balances are stated correctly in NetSuite
Assist with vendor onboarding, vendor account reconciliations, and vendor management
Prepare AP Accrual journal entries and AP bank account reconciliation
Prepare journal entries and other account analyses
Serve as person for vendor payment & vendor reconciliation issues
Perform ad hoc account analysis and queries from customers
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience in retail and/or manufacturing industries
Basic knowledge of GAAP
Experience with the end-to-end AP function and P2P process
A good team player
Proficient in Excel
Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks independently
Strong attention to details
