Job Summary:
Established health center is looking for an Accountant to join their team. This role will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, journal entries, reconciling accounts and ensuring data accuracy.
Job Title Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Timely and accurate completion of the general ledger entries
- Perform moderately complex statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data
- Prepare reports as required
- Investigate financial activity in patient billing and purchasing department
- Maintain detailed work-papers to support general ledger
- Participate in preparation for annual audits
- Reconcile accounts
Job Title Requirements:
- Bachelors' degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience with fixed assets a plus
- Intermediate Excel knowledge/skills
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Covid vaccine and booster required
