Family-owned company in the construction industry is seeking an experienced Accountant / Manager. This position works closely with upper management and is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions. This is a full-time, fully on-site position.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end close process
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP
  • Responsible for accounts payable functions including but not limited to verifying invoices, expense reports, check requests, and purchase requisitions, entering data into accounts payable system
  • Manage the accounts receivable functions including but not limited to applying payments to appropriate accounts, reconciling customer accounts, and handling customer inquiries and collections
  • Assist in the annual budget preparation
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports and present them to management team
  • Analyze and reconciles general ledger accounts

Ideal qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
