Our client, a trusted distribution center is looking for an Accounting Clerk to provide support to the billing department. This position will be responsible for bi-weekly and monthly billing for numerous clients. In this role you will be required to use a hands-on approach to complete billing functions ensuring that invoices are sent out on time and accurately. To be successful in this role you will have ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in high pressure, high volume environment.


  • Responsible for responding to client inquiries in a timely fashion
  • Responsible for setting up billing processes and audit procedures to identify billing errors prior to invoice submission to our clients
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating billing SOPs
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both internally as well as with external clients.
  • Ability to take on ad-hoc projects as necessary

Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Ability to learn various systems quickly.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel is required. Proficient with Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, Sum if, pivot tables, and building templates.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to meet goals within the billing cycle.
