Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Pleasanton
Compensation: $110-$120k

Job Summary:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for meeting monthly deadlines for closings, validating AP and AR entries, month end entries, preparing monthly financial statements, and coordinating preparation of annual tax returns.

Job Title Responsibilities:
* Prepare and enter journal entries.
* Verify all AP postings and post corrections as needed.
* Review all revenue and expense accounts.
* Reconcile bank statements monthly.
* Reconcile all balance sheet accounts.
* Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
* Responsible for workers' compensation accruals.
* Assis in annual preparation of property tax returns.
* Book payroll journal entries.
* Manage fixed assets and update depreciation schedules monthly.
* Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Job Title Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree.
* 5+ years of experience in an accounting environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Great Plains helpful but not required.
* Able to organize, plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
