Accounting Manager

Local property management company is searching for an Accounting Manager to join their tenured team. This position has great growth potential with the expectation that this candidate will become a member of the executive management team within a few years.

Main Responsibilities:

Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions to ensure the accurate and timely generation of company financials
Assist with implementation of budgets, financial goals/controls, KPI reports, etc.
A/R, A/P, reconciliations, monthly closes, and other bookkeeping functions
Coordinate and prepare internal financial statements
Evaluate and make improvements on existing accounting and internal control systems
Train and supervise staff in accounting functions

Ideal qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
10+ years of progressive accounting experience
3-5 years tax preparation experience
CPA highly preferred
