Job Title: Accounting Manager/Controller

Job Summary:
Established hospitality company is seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller to join their company. This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial functions. This includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, general ledger, and payroll processing. This is a hands-on position.
Job Title Responsibilities:
* Prepare all financial statements monthly, and manage month ends and year end close
* Maintain accounting reconciliations for all accounts, including Balance Sheets
* Oversee bi-monthly payroll process
* Prepare all monthly, quarterly, and annual city and state tax filings
* Maintains capital expenditure register
* Performs other duties as requested
* Assures compliance with internal controls
* Prepares reports as requested to develop improved management decision making and critical evaluation of work activities
* Maintains capital expenditure register
* Oversees monthly and quarterly inventory counts
* Ensure all accounts payable and accounts receivable functions are carried out in a timely and accurate manner
Job Title Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* 4 to 6 years related experience in accounting required, 4 years of supervisory experience preferred.
* 2 years of hotel experience preferred
