Accounting Manager

Growing organization rooted in sports & fitness is in need of an Accounting Manager to help lead the accounting team. This is a full time, hybrid position, offering medical and dental benefits, generous PTO, and a 401k plan with matching.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee A/R, A/P, reconciliations, monthly closes, and other accounting functions to ensure the accurate and timely generation of company financials
  • Prepare and report on various analytics and variance analysis.
  • Train, supervise, and mentor accounting staff including overseeing the accounts payables process.
  • Enhance efficiency by proactively identifying new processes and systems.
  • Assist management and controller with financial audits and reporting for ownership group.

Ideal qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • ERP experience required, Netsuite experience preferred

This is a hybrid opportunity based in San Rafael. Candidates must be able to commit to 2-3 days/week of in-office work.


$100- $120k plus bonus
