Accounting Specialist

Nelson Connects is partnering with a local company to find a dynamic Accounting Specialist to join their team. Ideal candidates will have strong experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as strong organizational skills.


Main Functions Include:

  • Maintenance of vendor information, including year-end 1099 issuance and report
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Assist with preparation for annual audits
  • Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices
  • Assist with accounts receivable including process incoming payments by check or credit card, assisting customers with billing questions by phone and email

Ideal qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
