Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Location: Petaluma
Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 annually

Job Summary:

A well-established family-owned client of ours is looking for an accounting specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining financial records, overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable. This is a full-time job in the office with great benefits.

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile accounts receivable efficiently and accurately.
  • Monitor cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Assist in generating financial reports and statements for analysis.
  • Collaborate with team members during month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide back-up assistance for processing and reconciling accounts payable as needed.
  • Stay informed about evolving accounting standards and industry best practices.

Job Title Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft office suite, Excel and a plus
