Job Title: Accounts Payable Administrator
Location: San Rafael
Compensation: $22-24/h

Job Summary:
Our client located in San Rafael is seeking an accounts payable administrator to join their team. In this role your main responsibilities are ensuring all invoices are entered, coded, prepared, sent and paid accurately and on time. Ideally you are detail oriented, organized, consistent and are able to prioritize your work to meet deadlines. Construction industry knowledge is a plus!

Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle Invoicing: scan, classify, match and validate
  • Vendor statement reconciliation and follow-up on discrepancies
  • Review aging to prepare/process check run
  • Process/apply/track credit card payments
  • Track/report on potential vendor account holds
  • Prepare as needed spreadsheets and reporting

Desired Qualifications:

  • Degree in accounting/finance or 2 years related experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advance Excel: Pivot Tables and Charts/ Formulas
  • Experience using accounting software; SAGE is a huge plus!
