Accounts Payable Lead
Calistoga

Well-established organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead/Supervisor to join their team. This role will be responsible for participating in and managing the accounts payable process. This is a full-time, onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead and direct the work of accounts payable staff
Maintain accurate records and files
Ensure timely payment of all invoices
Support month-end close by ensuring AP close is complete and accurate
Assist with audits (Federal, State and Bank)
Year-end 1099 processing
Oversee and participate in invoice posting and all check runs
Ensure all payments and AP tasks are done in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Oversee all vendor communication

Ideal qualifications:

5-7 years of Accounts Payable experience with 1-2 years of supervisory responsibilities
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
Strong ERP system experience required
Secondary education at the associate or bachelor level.
