Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Novato
Compensation: $26-$32 an hour

Job Summary:

Established local company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of Accounts Payable, invoicing and vendor management.

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Match packing slips and invoices, obtain invoice approvals
  • Accurately enter all invoices into the system
  • Prepare all check runs
  • Manage all business licenses
  • Process and complete all vendor credit applications
  • Perform all duties related to accounts payable: receive and review invoices, code to department/expense account, input in payment system, process checks, deliver payments, and all other necessary tasks
  • Reviews, research, and resolves past due statements and old invoices with a sense of urgency and tenacity

Job Title Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of accounts payable experience
  • Bachelor's in accounting or finance
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills, problem resolution, and a good understanding of accounting functions
