Accounts Payable Specialist
Vallejo
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the entirety of the Payables function for the company. This will include the timely and accurate processing of all incoming invoices, expense, and vendor management. The successful candidate will have 3+ years' experience in a similar capacity working with multiple companies within an organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepares all vouchers and approved invoices for payment
- Monitors
- Processes check requests, expense reports, credit cards and tax payments, ensuring all appropriate approvals have been received
- Facilitates payment of vendors and obtains signatures and distributes signed checks as required.
- Assists with month-end accrual accounting of expenses
- Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files
Preferred qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years of A/P experience
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of accounting principles
