Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Walnut Creek
Compensation: $26-$29 per hour

Job Summary:

Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This position will be responsible for the company's full cycle accounts payable duties.

Job Title Responsibilities:
* Ensure the weekly accounts payable process occurs timely and accurately.
* Review all invoices for correct GL coding.
* Maintain logs of vendor payments and notes.
* Process payment of vendor invoices, generate checks and ACH transfers.
* Review daily bank balances and follow up on positive pay exceptions.
* Transmit intercompany banking transfers, wires and post to appropriate accounts.
* Deposit cash and checks.
* Prepare month-end, quarter-end and year-end reports.
* Perform additional duties as needed.

Job Title Requirements:
* High school diploma or 2-3 years of related experience.
* Proficient in Excel and SAGE 100 (or other accounting software).
* Experience working in Word and Outlook.
* Strong oral communication, analytical and written skills.
* Strong attention to detail.
