Accounts Receivable Clerk - Part Time
Sonoma, CA
$20.00/hour

A company in Sonoma is seeking a part-time, temporary AR Clerk to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate invoices and account statements.

  • Connect with customers and customer service over the phone and email to request, receive and record payments; deposit checks

  • Maintain accounting and accounts receivable files and records by accurately recording and applying payments

  • Reconcile and audit accounts; assist in investigating and resolving any irregularities or inquiries related to payments and accounts

  • Receive and distribute incoming mail and correspondence

  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience; some customer service experience a plus

  • General math and data entry skills

  • Proficiency in Excel with the ability to operate accounting software preferred

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team is essential

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
