Accounts Receivable Specialist
Sebastopol

Local manufacturer is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their finance team. This role will act as the primary lead on all accounts receivable as well as provide administrative and professional support to the finance department.


Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with the Controller to determine month end accruals as needed for reporting
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Review and verify customer chargebacks and discrepancies
  • Research and solve payment discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Issue monthly customer statements
  • Maintain and organize all customer and vendor files
  • Act as primary lead on accounts receivable full-cycle functions

Ideal qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 2-3+ years' experience in accounts receivable
  • Experience in ERP system preferred
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong MS Office and Excel skills
