Accounts Receivable Specialist
Calistoga

Well-established organization is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team. This role will be responsible for processing full cycle accounts receivable. This includes but is not limited to receiving billings, processing, and recording invoices. This is a full-time, onsite position.


Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receives completed sales orders from shipping
  • Prints billing invoices to PDF daily and emails to customer.
  • Prints monthly statement to PDF and send to customers.
  • Verifies and maintains accounts receivable invoice records, sales and cost of sales reports, open and aging reports, and journals.
  • Receives checks, prepare deposits slips
  • Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash, etc.
  • Processes credit card payments and apply payments to open invoices.
  • Updates and reviews ages receivables for unpaid balances. Monitor customer account details for non-payments delayed payments and other irregularities.
  • Works with Sales Reps and customer contacts in ensure timely collection
  • Verifies monthly totals of sales distribution, sales history, returns and allowances, and cash receipts journal
  • Communicates with customers & vendors regarding billing
  • Reviews open shipments and communicates with other departments regarding issues


Ideal qualifications:

  • 3+ year's accounts receivable experience
  • Strong Excel skills & ERP experience
  • Attention to detail
