Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Novato
Compensation: $27-$32 an hour

Job Summary:

Established manufacturing company is seeking a temporary AR Specialist to join the team. This role will be covering a leave for roughly two months. Hybrid scheduling available.

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records and control reports
  • Manage collection activities such as negotiating with past-due accounts, referring account to collection agencies, and sending follow-ups
  • Ensure that operational criterion is reflected in the accounts receivable functions
  • Update receivables by monitoring and coordinating all processing performed on orders that are delivered daily including transactions such as bank remittances
  • Monitor expenditures and implement corrective steps by identifying significant variances
  • Assists Controller with monthly status reports, and monthly closings

    Job Title Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in collections/AR
  • Working knowledge of Excel
  • Sage ERP 500 a plus
