Job Title: AP/AR Specialist
Location: Oakland
Compensation: $80,000 to $85,000 a year

Job Summary: Well established company looking for a strong AP/AR Specialist

Job Title Responsibilities:
* Reconciles A/R to the G/L
* Responsible for weekly and monthly reconciliation of bank account.
* Posts JE entries for all ACH transactions and bank transactions
* Monitor and process positive pay transactions
* Assists with month end & quarterly close
* Reconciles Cash Box Accounts
* Loan Payables adjustments
* Makes daily collection calls
* Keeps track of invoices that are outstanding
* Processes customer credit applications
* Sends out Monthly Statements
* Receives and processes customer credit applications
* Research and identify areas that can be improved within current AP processes
* Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report

Job Title Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Strongly prefer Construction, Manufacturing or Wholesale Industry experience
* ERP Software experience
