Job Title: AP/AR Specialist

Location: San Rafael
Compensation: $25-$28 an hour

Job Summary:

Are you a recent grad looking for room to grow? We are partnering with a well-established client of ours who is looking for an AP/AR specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for providing support to the accounting department. This is a full-time role Monday through Friday with a flexible work schedule.

Job Title Responsibilities:

Set up new vendors in accounting software
Manage vendor files
Respond to vendor inquiries
Reconcile vendor statements
Ensure invoices are approved in timely manner
Research and correct discrepancies
Reconcile and prepare accounts payable checks
Process internal check requests
Ensure W-9's and Insurance certificates are on file for vendors
Create invoices for accounts receivable
Process payments in accounting software
General office duties such as filing AP/AR, ordering supplies, etc.…

Job Title Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, etc.…) a plus
