Job Title: AP/AR Specialist

Location: San Rafael
Compensation: $25-$28 an hour

Job Summary:

Are you a recent grad looking for room to grow? We are partnering with a well-established client of ours who is looking for an AP/AR specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for providing support to the accounting department. This is a full-time role Monday through Friday with a flexible work schedule.

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Set up new vendors in accounting software
  • Manage vendor files
  • Respond to vendor inquiries
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Ensure invoices are approved in timely manner
  • Research and correct discrepancies
  • Reconcile and prepare accounts payable checks
  • Process internal check requests
  • Ensure W-9's and Insurance certificates are on file for vendors
  • Create invoices for accounts receivable
  • Process payments in accounting software
  • General office duties such as filing AP/AR, ordering supplies, etc.…

Job Title Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, etc.…) a plus
