Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Petaluma
Compensation: $25-$34 an hour

Job Summary:

Established construction company is looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join them on a temporary basis. This position will run through October/November until the end of busy season. Role will be responsible for processing high-volume AP.

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Check cost reports to confirm correct data
  • Match contract pricing with outgoing invoices
  • Track time and material data
  • Validate invoices for material, quantity, pricing against purchase orders
  • Ensure proper invoice coding/cost allocation
  • Vendor statement reconciliation and follow up on discrepancies
  • Work with team to meet AP invoice processing month end close deadline

Job Title Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting/finance or similar role required
  • Experience working in construction industry a plus
  • Knowledge of Foundation software a plus
