Job Title: AP Specialist

Location: Stockton
Compensation: $23-$29 an hour

Job Summary:

A family-owned client of ours is looking for an AP Specialist to join their team. This role is responsible for assisting the accounts payable department. The ideal candidate would have high attention to detail and general accounts payable skills.

Job Title Responsibilities:

  • Receive invoices and match up to statements
  • Distribute invoices for approval or match to purchase order
  • Code invoices
  • Create checks for vendors
  • Enter invoice data into accounting software
  • Request W-9 from vendors
  • Research discrepancies and reach out to vendors
  • Weekly check run
  • Run balancing reports daily

Job Title Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of AP or accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Sage preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
