Job Title: AR Accountant

Location: Sacramento
Compensation: $70,000 to $75,000 annually

Job Summary:

A client of ours in the education industry is looking for an AR Accountant to join their team. This role is responsible for supporting the accounts receivables department. The ideal candidate would possess excellent time management skills and have strong attention to detail. This is a hybrid role with the ability to work from home Monday's and Friday's.

Job Title Responsibilities:

Reconcile monthly merchant account statements
Enter and post receipts in A/R system daily
Process credit card charges using payment software
Create and process bank deposits and slips for appropriate accounts
Generate invoices and statements
Respond accurately and timely to inquiries regarding accounts receivable.
Review, monitor and document aging reports and follow collections procedures
Assist in annual audit by preparing reports
Process refunds for overpaid receivables

Job Title Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting role.
Knowledge of NetSuite preferred
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
