AR Staff Accountant

$26-$29 per hour

Premier hospitality group is seeking an AR Staff Accountant to join the Finance team for Napa based property. This role will be responsible for the processing of accounts receivable functions in addition to general accounting tasks. Additionally, this position will support the management team in taking on various projects and producing customized reports.

Main Functions Include:

• Upholds a high level of customer service in completing all AR functions.
• Posts customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Creates invoices and submits invoices to customers.
• Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections.
• Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts; creates reports regarding the status of customer accounts.
• Maintains and updates customer files.
• Assists in generating monthly billing statements.

Ideal qualifications:

• 2- or 4-year degree in accounting or related field, or relevant work experience.
• Understanding of computerized accounting systems & working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
