Nelson Connects has an immediate opening for 1st Shift Assemblers at a leading manufacturer in Rohnert Park of electronic control devices and linear motors!
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour **Temp**

What you'll do:

  • Assemble electronic systems or support structures
  • Install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering, and powered screw drivers
  • Read, interpret, and utilize drawings, blueprints, and work orders
  • Pack finished products for shipment and label components
  • Test functional performance and measure product to ensure quality using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Operate cold saw, panel saw, drill press and tapping machine
  • Construct containers suitable for shipping the products
  • Additional duties as assigned

Must haves:

  • Experience in manufacturing
  • Safety minded
  • Willing to learn and grow within the role
  • Well organized with excellent attention-to-detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, etc
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to stand, sit, twist, bend, lift, and push
  • Selected candidates must meet all pre-employment requirements

Nice to have:

  • Electrical or electromechanical experience, soldering, metal working, motor/controller production experience

Hours: Monday thru Friday 6am-2:30pm

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour **Temp**
